Tasks deriving from the EU integration process

After the signature of the Accession Treaty the preparation of the Ministry for the EU accession has arrived to a new, different phase in April 2003. From this date the preparation has not only meant the tasks related to the legal harmonisation and institution building, but our experts have had the possibility to join the decision making process of the EU in "active observer status". That is the leaders and experts of the Ministry are present in the EU institutions at every level, forming their opinion and lobbying for the Hungarian interests.
